Back on His Feet: Paraplegic Man Stands
The news stories made it sound too good to be true: A man who had been paralyzed from the mid-chest down since 2006 was able to stand up on his own (with some assistance for balance), thanks to an implanted stimulation device that sent electrical pulses to his spinal cord. That’s right -- he got up and stood. It sounded amazing. When I called the lead researcher to learn more, I found out that the results aren’t exactly what they seem at first glance... but they are exciting nonetheless.
My recovery of stroke started in same way. My Physiotherapist too passed low voltage for 1-2 minutes for one week, though I did not feel anything sensations that time may it help to activate some neuron. As I wrote earlier
that with regular exercises I am almost recovered .

The deficiency of VitaminD, the essential nutrient obtained from exposure to sunlight, doubles the risk of stroke,
Steps for Optimizing Your Vitamin D Levels
Currently, the conventional RDAs for vitamin D are only:
· 400 IU for infants, children and adolescents
· 200 IU for adults up to age 50
· 400 IU for adults aged 51 to 70
· 600 IU for seniors over 70
In this case the only accurate way to determine your optimal dose is to get your blood tested. Ideally, you'll want to maintain a vitamin D level of at least 50ng/ml and perhaps as high as 80-90 ng/ml year-round.
